One of the most important fundamentals of getting your site ranked well for local searches is having your business contact information appear on every page of your site. To take it up a notch, you can format your information according to the hCard microformat standard.
If your site is running WordPress, then I’m happy to let you know about our new hCard Widget for WordPress. This amazing (and free) new WordPress plugin creates a new widget that allows where you can simply enter your contact information and and it will be automagically output according to the hCard microformat standard.
Just drag the widget into one of your site’s sidebars (I suggest the footer), enter your name, organization, phone number, email, etc. and click save.
PRESTO!
Your address will now appear all over your site, with all the icky coding work taken care of.
